The third BioStruct training event took place on March 21st 2012 at the Engel facilities in Schwertberg, Austria. The event, chaired by Mr. Hubertus Schulte of Engel, concentrated on BioStruct ‘case studies and potential end-users’ and saw presentations given by four BioStruct partners: Gerhard Baeck from Engel, Katja Klophaus from Henkel, Lars Ziegler form Tecnaro and Gunnar Schneider from ICT. The language of instruction was German; however, the presentations are available in English at www.biostructproject.eu/index.php.
The fourth and final training event is taking place at the Aimplas facilities in Valencia on May 10th 2012 (details and presentations may be found on the project websites www.biostructproject.eu). As with all BioStruct training events, the aim is to get potential end-users involved and to stimulate the current technical and market knowledge for enhanced wood-plastic composites and their applications.
